Description

Monteblanco is Rodrigo Sánchez Valencia's farm in Acevedo, Huila, in southern Colombia. This lot is Purple Caturra grown at 1,800 metres, a Caturra type whose cherries ripen to purple.

It is washed and comes to us as the "Passion Fruit" lot. In the cup, the tropical tartness of passion fruit meets apricot and plum: clear, juicy and long. Cupping score 85.

Brew tips

A V60 or Chemex shows its clarity best; start at 1:16 with water at 93 °C.
